Azrael's Flowers - Artstation Jam

Azrael's Flowers - an #artstationjam based on the story "The Angel"
.
In the town of Via’an, many whispers of a ghost dressed in flowers. No one knows why he dwells, or what he wants, but those who have witnessed his ministrations dare not speak of what they saw. When morning graces Via’an, the fog reveals a grisly scene - a garden of corpses, drained of life, petrified in fear, clawing towards the sky. The dead are chained together with the vines of unearthly purple flowers, blossoming beautifully in the rising sun. The residents of Via’an have a special name for these flowers. Inspired by lunatics who say they saw a guardian angel helping a boy seek vengeance, the violent purple blooms are known as the Flowers of Azrael, the angel of Death.

"Death serves a nameless king."
